The perfect thermos for a school lunch! I love this thermos my littles when they want a warm lunch menu item. We also have the thermos brand container for lunches and I still use that, but I do prefer this one over the thermos brand because of it's size, and ease of opening. Thanks to the handle on this thermos, both of my lower and upper elementary aged kids can open it independently and quickly during lunch. There have been a handful of times that they were unable to get the thermos brand one to open or struggled with it (no handle). The size is slightly taller than than the thermos brand and the opening is a little smaller. So, keep that in mind when it comes to what size of utensils you provide and what you put in it. Overall, it's comparable to other brands in how well it functions, durability and how it keeps food hot (always fill with piping hot water and put the lid on to sit before dumping out and filling with food). Just a little superior in my opinion because of it's handle and sleek design.

I purchased 2 of these thermos jars for my younger kids (5 year old and 3 year old) because their old ones were too small for them now and just in desperate need for an upgrade. These jars are SO PERFECT for my kids! why?1. food stays warm for school lunches. (let hot water sit in thermos for a few minutes while capped, then add hot food inside). Today, I packed lunches at 7:30am and opened the thermos at 2:00pm and her leftovers were still lukewarm..and this is after she already opened it and had her lunch!2. Easy to open and close.This was necessary for my kids to be able to do on their own at school and the simple twist handle is so large enough to hold securely and to grip and twist.3. Size is perfect for a single serving for younger elementary child.We've done pasta, rice, noodles, soup, nuggets, dumplings, potstickers! These containers fit perfectly into skip hop lunch bags, target lunch bags, and even on the bottom lunch pocket of the bentgo backpack.4. leakproofI typically put this container on the bottom pocket of the bentgo backpack turned on its side----IS FULLY LEAKPROOF.These containers are also really cute with the ombre design. I love that it doesn't have an overly kiddie obnoxious look because I want to be able to use these for as long as possible. Love and recommend!

I use this almost every day. It keeps hot food hot and cold food cold. It’s a reasonable size so it’s easy to transport and can hold a good portion of food. It’s easy to clean either by hand or in the dishwasher. It has held up with regular use for months.

This thing actually performs better than the brand name thermos I bought at an outdoor store (the lid leaks a little on that one). I love it when I'm camping in freezing weather - put a hot chocolate in it and sip a warm beverage for an hour. It's also great for cold drinks, ice will stay frozen for hours.The lid seals tight and it's easy to clean. No complaints.

Purchased this to send food in for my toddler to daycare. It is the perfect size for him to hold and be able to scoop out of and keeps things warm until lunch when it’s served. We preheat the thermos with boiling water (dump before adding your food) and that increases the time it stays warm. We’ve used it far more than we imagined we would. Our child much prefers pasta to a PBJ so it’s made trips to the parks even better because we can stay our longer to lunch. Very easy to clean and excellent quality, much like the simple modern water bottles we have. Would highly recommend and would buy again.

I DON'T USE SIMPLE MODERN PRODUCTS FOR FOOD, I USE THEM FOR WATER. WITH THE WIDE MOUTH, YOU CAN PUT IN LOTS OF ICE! ALSO, I LOVE THAT 10% OF PROFITS ARE DONATED ANNUALLY TO HELP IN AREAS LIKE: CLEAN WATER, EDUCATION, MARGINALIZED COMMUNITIES, ENDING HUMAN TRAFFICKING. I WOULD GLADLY SUPPORT THESE CAUSES FOR NOTHING BUT BY BUYING THE SIMPLE MODERN PRODUCTS, I GET SOMETHING USEFUL!

Great thermos. Keeps cold things cold, keeps warm things warm and keeps hot things hot. We use it for our daughters' lunches. Her only complaint is that hot soup is too hot - hours after it was poured into the thermos....so serve foods at the temperature that you would serve them as if they were eating it right away.

Does its job (keeps food warm)! Nice size and look. Pretty sure it says to not put in the dishwasher, but I do anyways and it’s been fine for 6 months so far (ie still does its job and still looks the same).
