4 month update May 2024 - this duvet set is still just as nice as when I purchased. It's softened a bit more as I've washed. I'm using 1 insert for the summer and it's kept me fairly cool. I'm purchasing a few others to have in rotation. I still highly recommend this if you're looking to swap to linen bedding.Original Review February 2024 - I was on the hunt for a good quality duvet cover, something that rivaled Pottery Barn or West Elm.After reading some of the reviews, I decided this was the set I going with and took the gamble.After a month of sleeping with it, I am impressed. It washes incredibly well, super breathable, and the color is exactly as depicted. It is linen so it DOES wrinkle a bit, nothing a steamer can't fix or just embrace the relaxed look as intended.I plan on purchasing a few others to rotate between.I used the Amazon basics light down alternative quilt (use 2 if you like the look of an extra fluffy bed).This is a great set and excellent quality.Do note if you are used to jersey cotton type of softness this will feel "scratchy" to you, washing does soften it up over time.

This company has become the only one I buy bed linens from now. I'm am absolutely floored by the quality. I have had a stray thread(quick snip and good to go) or two but for the price these quality linens make it worth it. I'm not kidding, a few months with one set (the linen color), I bought another color in rust and donated all of my other bed stuff. I also use simple and opulence sheets and the blanket is their muslin blanket also. Linen being so expensive the blend they offer is fantastic, the linen blend products I've bought from this company are super soft, wash well, and are super adaptable warmth and breathability wise. I've convinced a few of my friends to buy them also. If you are on the fence I'd say you have nothing to lose. These are quality and beautifully dyed. I am now a customer for life.

Going on 3rd wash in a row to attempt to reduce the scratchy feel but it’s just not getting any softer. It actually hurt to rub my cheek against this fabric. It’s like sandpaper. I got the burgundy color. The color is beautiful but it’s so uncomfortable I will be throwing it away.Update: after numerous washings this blanket finally became softer! I will be keeping it after all.

I’m currently using this duvet cover with an all-season duvet insert in my SUV Camper. Its a great fit, is super soft, and so comfortable! I also love the aesthetic! I enjoy the ease of washing it in a standard washing machine. I would recommend this product!

I tried to save a few bucks and got this linen and cotton blend instead. After sleeping with it for 2 weeks, I wish I had bought 100% linen, it doesn’t feel the same at all. Linen has a special way of movement, this feels and moves like a cotton duvet. It also feels cooler in the heat.Now, it is a quality duvet? Yes, I like the thickness and button closure, pillowcases are nice too.The color, I thought I was getting a neutral sort of light tan, but it was slightly darker like a dark khaki but with a tinge of salmon/pink coloring?When I get the money, I’ll go buy a 100% linen set.

Amazing duvet cover. Why did I wait so long? The quality and the thickness of the fabric are amazing. It breathes and this is why you want linen because in warmer climes, such as the desert of the deep south it keeps you cooler while providing some snug weight. The first night I was rolling over and thanking God for this because it has the perfect weight, lightness, breathability and texture to enjoy the whole night through. It doesnt wad up and it doesnt tangle when you flip over. It stays in place and provides just the touch of warmth to keep you from getting cold but its not suffocating or cloying. Rather it feels so refreshing and keeps you comfortable all night long. Truly a great investment for a place you spend more time in that anywhere else.

The material is great. Nice, thick linen with enough casual texture to make it look just right without a ton of ugly wrinkles. Washed well and is just an inch or two too long for my down comforter, which was supposedly the exact measurements of this duvet cover. It’s not a huge deal; I just put the loose bit at the foot of my bed so it doesn’t bunch up at the top.

I purchased the king sized duvet cover set in burgundy red.It was a supposed to be a Simple & Opulence linen cotton blend duvet cover set.I received a king size duvet cover set, but itwas not linen in any form and I seriously doubt it was cotton either.The topside of the material was soft and the inside or underside of the pieces had the dark shiny look of a synthetic like polyester or microsuede.Which is fine if that’s what you want, and order, and pay for.On the bright side, the customer service was very responsive.

This package arrived with no brand name identification, and there is no tag on the duvet to indicate what it is made of. There is no way the fabric is linen! It feels and looks like a polyester duvet set. I'm feeling duped by Amazon.
