Pattern is easy to cut out and sew. Not allot of different parts. Easy to follow instructions. I made all three repeatedly. Have seen over a hundred and pattern still hanging in. Making them to throw at Mardi gras . I use the safety noses and eyes instead of embroidery.

To date I have made 63 bears like the two in the picture. I make them for people who have lost a loved one and I use the loved one's clothing. I don't charge any thing. It is a mission of mine.I have sewn for years and Simpliciy is the only pattern I ever use.

I bought this to make a bunny for my new grand baby. This was the first stuffed animal pattern I ever used. Holy cow! For me the cutting of the minky fabric was a nightmare. If you manage to cut the two sets of fabric layers EXACTLY as the pattern, you will do well. Despite tons of pins, I found it very hard to cut through two layers at once. The fabric just kept slipping and the pieces wouldn’t exactly match. The cutting took me literally several hours to get the two layers to match, but in the end it looks like a bunny. An excellent pattern, but this user needs more skill lol. I will try the teddy bear too, but will probably pick an easier and less stretchy fabric.

I loved the process of making the bunny with these patterns. I had never used a pattern or made a stuffed animal before and it turned out pretty well. I loved how it looked and the kid I made it for sleeps with it every night.

Updated for 2021! I'm getting better and more creative with time while using this pattern! I bought this pattern in 2016, wore it out, and bought another one! It's my favorite pattern!This pattern is easy to use for a beginner. I have 21 grandchildren and wanted to make them each something. This pattern is making that possible.The hardest part to figure out is the rump. The first one or two I made I didn't understand the dart seams and the rump came out interesting to say the least. I have finally got it down the way the pattern meant it to be, but the directions weren't really clear for a beginner sewer on the bottom part. There is a tutorial video for this pattern online at Simplicity.The directions do call for the use of safety eyes and such. I do understand that, however I went the old-fashioned route using buttons or google eyes like my mom and grandma before me. I sewed them on securely AND used liquid stitches so they won't budge. Updated in 2021...I now use safety eyes. It's much easier.I have not successfully been able to sink my eyes in like they do in the online video, but I'm happy with my characters anyway. I'm still learning on how to make them even cuter than simply putting the pattern together.

Patron bien réalisé qui m'a permis de confectionner un gros lapin. En effet, les doudous sont grands et il faut savoir que les explications ne sont pas en français. Mais un peu d'observation et on s'en sort facilement.
