I purchased the SIMPLI-MAGIC 79522 Heavy Duty Padded Moving Blankets, Orange/Black, 72†x 80â€, 6 Pack blankets so I would have something other than a blue tarp to protect the furniture pieces I have in my shop when they are not being worked on, but they are so darn useful I should probably by more because I seem to be using them for more then covering furniture. These are high quality moving blankets that are nearly the size of a twin size blanket. They are thick, quilted and made of actual fabric not the papery, easily torn, thin moving blankets that you find these days. The thickness helps protects the furniture from being dented and dinged very well. I just couldn’t be happier, for the money they are a great value. Couple more items is there was absolutely NO off gassing as is the case with many blankets or soft goods. Because the blankets are of real fabric, thick and comfortable they can be used as a regular blanket without worry. they wash up beautifully so I keep a couple in the car for the “Just in Case†moment. I love the size of them as well because it easily covers a lowboy dresser with extra on the sides, but it is not so large that it becomes unmanageable. Its a great product and I highly recommend them.

On arrival, I was a bit doubtful since it visibly looked smaller than expected while packaged in a smaller than expected box. After unpacking, taking out 1 of 6 pads, then unraveling it quickly shows the true size and quality of the cover. Can't ask for anything better, especially at the price point, when compared to similar and often times 'better' quality competing items. I ended up buying a 2nd 6-count pack. Highly recommended! And now, I no longer have to rent these out which is great for frequent movers.

The main body of the structure appears to be relatively strong and the solid wheels are equally good. The extendable handle does not feel like the same material and a little concerning if maxing out the advertised weights. More importantly though, the drilled holes on one side of that same handle do not align with the holes in the main structure; therfore you can't pin that side in place. By the way, the pins are not very impressive - simple, flemsy R-pins. Lastly, though not a structural comment, the yellow painted handle had a handful of groups of scratches that could have probably been avoided by wrapping in durable cardboard.

These blankets were plenty thick enough to use moving my mom’s household goods and furniture pieces from CT to NC using a pod. Draped items with these and purchased a roll of shrink wrap to keep them in place. Zero items arrived with damage!We did not notice any type of foul odor from these upon opening. They are not as heavy as the professional moving blankets but work perfect for a personal move! I would definitely purchase again and recommend to friends.

Bought these for my most recent move and they worked great. Safely wrapped my furniture in them and taped them up. Tape held well to them then easily came off when unpacking. They are light weight but have enough cushion for packing more fragile items.They are surprisingly comfortable, not scratchy, and I keep one in my car now in case of a good estate sale find, a picnic or beach blanket, or my dog gets super muddy and I need to cover the back seat. I also use one in bottom of my dog’s crate as a pillow. Much easier to wash than a dog bed. They stack nicely in my basement and don’t slip off one another. I would definitely buy these again.
