I bought two brushes. When I opened the package, the ferrule was bent and off of one brush. I began to use the other and the ferrule snapped off. One positive. They did arrive on time.

I have been painting oils for over 18 years and love the firmness of this brush. I use it to make skinny lines on the edge, or rub in base coats to later shade, or delineate edges. I do mainly portraits and figures with landscape backgrounds. I love the detail I get with this brush stroke. If I want to go over and texture with extra color/highlights I will then use a round that has more floppy/flexibility.
