I started sewing headband and scrunchie sets for my daughter. The needle goes through several layers of fabric and one inch elastic and I was bending the “stock†needles that came with the machine (10’s, I believe - I am super new to machine sewing, so I’m learning, lol..). A seamstress friend said I needed to go to a 12, so I ordered these and they have been great! Glad I ordered them!

Happy to get Singer products at affordable prices, with Singer quality. Don't know the difference between sewing machine needles packages Is there a difference between needles in different packages.? Overall good quality, ease to insert, no breakage , smooth sewing performance.
