Wanted a small cd player for my mom’s health care room. This is perfect? Speakers have a good sound. We don’t use the radio much, but it works fine.

Bought mainly for the ability to play my CD's whenever and where ever I want. I think the sound quality is good and it's great to be able to play my CDs again. It may be a little tricky tuning in the radio station you want, but I can get by with that.

This is a nice little set for someone who just wants some sound in a part of their house where there is none, like maybe a baby's nursery, where you would want to play music, or maybe in your garage while you are working on something, or that patio while you are relaxing. It may be old technology to some, but it is still very useful. Unfortunately, I did have to return this, not because anything was wrong with it, but for me, I have no place for it in my life. - I bought this for my father who is 92 years old and has dementia. I bought it because I thought it would be simple enough for him to easily use. Unfortunately, for him, not so easy. He was too confused to even learn how to turn it on. He had been complaining to me that he wanted a radio so this one seemed like the easiest for him to use. And it is easy, there is no doubt about that. But unless there is someone there to help him turn it on, he is unable to do it, so using the CD player would be an even bigger challenge for him. - I don't want my review to sound negative, it is not. It's a great little radio/CD player that would be a plus for that place in your home that needs a little bit of sound. This is also supposed to be portable but we never got around to that feature...I boxed it back up when I realized how difficult this would be for him to use. ---- It has a nice modern shape, lightweight, easy to see and figure out buttons. For the majority of people, I think this would be a great solution for music. For my dad, sadly, it would never work out.

Everything works well but the sound is very low I purchase this radio to listen my CD and radio stations in the shop while I am working but the sound is low does not sound like stereo, I had other radio similar to this one and the sound was much better. this radio is good for a room or office. I am very disappointed
