The chain is okay but has the extra kinks to make it adjustable. I have short hair and don’t like the look. I had a small, real gold chain, and I use that with the pearl. It looks great with my real pearl earrings. (The chain looks fine although I didn’t use it so can’t speak to whether or not it tarnishes easily.)

I ordered this necklace twice. The first one was as advertised. It was a real pearl (did the tooth test) mounted on the spoon shaped backing. The second one was a larger pearl without the backing. The pearl is fake. It looks and feels like plastic.

The pendant is of good quality and very pretty although it’s small than I expected. I’ll use the pendant with my other chain as this chain looks cheaper and too thin.
