I can drop it, microwave it, or refrigerate it. Perfect for me to pack a lunch for work. I gave it 4 stars because I worry the elastic securing wrap may fail in the future. I can replace that if necessary.

Leak Proof: Each individual container isn't leak proof but when they are stacked together, they become leak proofMicrowave Safe: The containers are made of plastic so they do become hot after you microwave them. It is best to microwave them for at most one minute each time.PS They got scratch marks after one cleaning with an abrasive sponge

I bought this so I had something to pack my lunch in. Not only does this bento box contain my food, it seems to enhance it. Everything tastes so fresh it's like there's a tiny chef inside making my lunch everyday. I mean, as long as the tiny chef isn't a rat I'm good with that. Well, even if it was, the freshness would be worth it. I'm getting off track here. Back to the box: seals well, stacks well, the little "dressing cup" is nice. The main containers are microwavable (not the lids though). Present me thanks past me for buying this.

Love using this thing for work, I can bring a big salad. Then some smaller items to make my lunch feel more full. The little separator works well. Love the little sauce/dressing holder.If I could wish for an improvement maybe more compartment separators for the top.
