Needed sisal to cover the legs of a wooden ladder to create a new cat tree. Not finished with it yet- but my fur babies are already in love and scratching away! There is an odor when you first open the package but it dissipates within a day. Rather vinegar like. Not terribly offensive and the kitties didn’t mind it at all- they attempted to assist me with my work unfazed by the smell😃.I purchased a smaller package of sisal at a local home store and it was half the size, same odor, and cost almost twice as much.Very pleased with my purchase and my fur kids are thrilled.

Looks like good quality - purchased to replace shredded scratching post rope on cat tree. I opted for this 6mm rope in the hopes of it sustaining longer abuse from cat claws in comparison to the original rope that was used. Looks great finished, served my purpose well👌

I feel like you get a lot for the price. So far it's held up my cat's scratch attacks. I gave it a four star due to a vinegar like smell, which eventually fades over a week or two.

Bought 2 rolls of this to redo 3 cat scratching poles. Works well and is same size and composition as what was previously on the scratching poles. Highly recommend this if cat scratching poles need to be recovered. Saved us money in not having to replace entire cat tree, which is still in great shape.

I used this to re-wrap my cats scratch post on her cat tree! Worked like a charm. I waited a month to write the review and as you can see, she’s has been using it:)

I bought this to replace the sisal rope on a cat scratching post. I've done this process before, with a cheaper brand of rope, so that one lasted about 2 years - with 3 cats using it daily. This rope was easy to work with. I wore gardening gloves during the process, just to protect my hands. It looks very nice! The cats are still getting used to the new rope, since they haven't had time to scent it up a lot yet. I'll rub some fresh catnip on it for encouragement and we should be fine.

Nice quality. No added oils or other stuff. Cats like it. I left the wrapping on and pulled the rope from the middle while winding it on a post to make the cat scratching post. This kept the rope bundled and easier to handle. I’d recommend it.
