I bought this to anchor on a wall in the corner where I do tabletop photography in my studio. It can easily hold either my small soft box or LED lighting panel, depending upon my subject matter. I can easily adjust it into position quickly. Once everything is set to my liking, it's steady throughout the entire shoot. Good stuff.

It broke right after I installed it. I have a GVM LED light (pretty light weight) on it. It snapped and there is no option to return it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS... buy a C-Stand.AVOID AVOID AVOID

This is great for permanent lighting setups like a vloggers. My wife is a hairstylist so I can see myself permanently giving this to her for her chair setup. Right now I’m using it for video shoots where I am allowed to screw into a wall when there is a lack of floor space. This works for small room shoots where you can’t get a light stand in but you do have permission to screw into a wall. So far I’ve been very cautious on using small lights. Very light weight lights. Have not tested the weight limit on it. I plan on experimenting in the future seeing instead of screwing into walls maybe using bailing wire to fix it to a pole and how it performs with that. For lightweight lights or even lightweight cameras i think should be fine.

I recently purchased the SITTO Ring Light Wall Mount for my barbershop, and overall, I'm quite pleased with it. The arm is sturdy and provides good flexibility, which is essential for getting the perfect lighting angle. The price is also quite reasonable, making it a great value for the features it offers. However, there are a couple of areas where it could be improved. Firstly, the lack of springs to counterbalance the arm can be a bit annoying. It requires constant adjustment to keep it in the desired position, which can be a hassle during busy work hours. Additionally, the knobs could be better suited with a clamp mechanism instead of relying solely on screwing in the threads. This would help maintain the desired position more effectively and reduce the need for frequent adjustments.

After months of battling a desk-mounted boom for my microphone (mostly used for meetings), I decided I wanted to try a boom that I could mount to the rafters of my basement office ceiling. So I tried this one. It actually works pretty well for my purposes. It doesn't drop at straight vertical because it's got the mechanism there for wall-mount use. But it's close enough. The big plastic-knobbed bolts allow me to easily raise and lower the mic, getting it completely out of the way when I need to see my screens clearly or just do anything for which the mic would be in the way.Its stability is okay. A little wiggly. But, again, if used as intended, it's probably better, so it's hard to grade it down for that. At this price, it's hard to beat.

This wall-mounted boom arm is a fantastic addition for anyone looking to streamline their studio setup. It's perfect for shorter reaches and lighter weight fixtures, making it ideal for compact home studios where space is at a premium. The arm is well-built, with sturdy clamps on the telescoping sections, and it can support up to 6.6 lbs, although I probably won't attempt coming near that weight. It's important to note that heavier loads may cause the angle adjustment clamp to slip.Installation is straightforward, but for best results, it's recommended to mount the plate to a stud or a solid wall. If you must use drywall, opt for larger anchors that provide better support. The mounting plate's design helps distribute the load effectively, ensuring stability. The arm’s ability to telescope back to a short length and stay close to the wall when not in use is a huge plus. It's a practical solution that eliminates the clutter of light stands and cords, making it easier to position lights perfectly and then quickly tuck them away. This boom arm has significantly improved the functionality and tidiness of my office/studio, and I highly recommend it for anyone dealing with similar space constraints.
