I am the Organizer of a croquet Meetup group that meets every Saturday morning at a local park. We usually play 2 games of croquet. Although I have several different brands of croquet sets (sometimes we get 20+ players attending), everyone's favorite set is this set. I estimate that we have used this set for over 220 croquet games in temperatures ranging from 98 degrees down to 38 degrees but not in the rain since I purchased this set in May of 2022. Sometimes the grip needs to be redone but, overall, this set has been well worth the cost. I am thinking of buying another set soon just to have as a backup should my current set begins to deteriorate -- or, most likely, I will be replacing the other brand sets with this one.

Great gift the only issue is the handlesafter only a little use the leather is falling off which is disappointingand the balls dent and get grass stainsbut other than that they work great for the price

We have played backyard croquet for decades and bought this upgraded set with the expectation it would last for several years. Within 5 days the balls became unusable, as they sound shattered inside. They remain round but rattle badly when shaken. We are forced to use 10 year old balls that were significantly more solid but shipped from years of use. While the mallets appear to be holding up well, I would not buy this set again, nor recommend it.

Mallets are nice. Regulation size. Balls are also regulation size but not color.Well worth it for the mallets. These are my favorite set.

I love the look of the product. We have played every weekend since we purchased this item. The durability is outstanding. No chipping or breaking of the mallets or balls. Great purchase

We have a very nice croquet set that our family has used for years. It is Maple and Ash, and a quality which is near impossible to find now. 2 of the mallet heads were damaged at some point, so we no longer has a full set. I have since tried a few sets as replacements and this set is the closest we have come. The mallets are wood, and good quality, the correct weight. They are not hardwood, and so I doubt they will last 20 years, but they are better quality than most of what is available now. My 4 star rating is for the set as a whole. While the Mallets are nice quality., the rest is not up to that standard. The balls are plastic, and nowhere near the weight of the wood balls we have used for years. Even toy sets we got had wood balls, so I would say that these need to be replaced. The wickets are not a lot better. They remind me of large landscape staples. The picture with grass has one or more wickets in it. See if you can spot them. Very difficult. Playing with them was equally so. The bag, keeps everything together, but awkwardly. It is a cheap bag. It can hold the weight of the set but it is awkward to carry, and the handles may not last. The bag may not last. Our old set has a wood trolley. It was, however, a good deal more expensive. The bag with this set, however, is also not of the quality you would expect at this price.In sum, you are buying this set for the mallets, which are reasonably good quality and around regulation weight. The balls are plastic and not great if you want to play a real game. The wickets are light weight steel. They would work better if painted. As is, they are very difficult to spot in a lawn. The bag... well it hold everything and that is about it.

We have not used it yet as it is winter time. But looking it over it seems and feels pretty solid

Nous avons reçu le jeu il y a trois semaines et avons joué plusieurs parties. Les boules se cassent à l’intérieur: on entend des fragments bouger à l’intérieur. Les boules roulent moins bien. Très décevant pour le prix. Les maillets sont quant à eux solides.
