What is embossing and debossing?Embossing is the process of creating raised and textured designs in materials such as paper and cardstock. Debossing is the same idea, though instead of raising the material, it pushes the material downwards, to create a ‘sunken’ effect. Our 3D Embossing Folders do both to create that 3D effect! How do I use a 3D Embossing Folder?It’s easy! Grab your Big Shot Machine (660200) and Standard Cutting Pads (655093) to get started. Firstly, place your chosen paper or cardstock inside the folder, for best results when using cardstock, spray a little water on the material before placing inside the folder. This will help to create an even deeper impression! Place the folder on top of your first cutting pad and complete the sandwich with your second cutting pad placed on the top. With one roll through your die cutting machine, your 3D design will be revealed! Note: An Adapter Platform (658992) will be required when using embossing folders with any of our Sizzix Big Shot machines. Simply place this under the sandwich you’ve created and you’re ready to go! If you've already purchased one of our Big Shot machines, your adapater is included! Oh. My. Gosh. You only need to run the folder through once for the most amazing wood texture you've ever seen. I can think of so many uses. But my favorite right now is using for background in making fall cards.

There wasn't anything I didn't like about this folder. It even makes semi metallic paper look like wood that has been painted. Works wonderful! Love it and would recommend it!

One of my favorite embossing folders at the moment. I love how from the embossing is. With some added ink you can really make the paper look like wood.

Avevo voglia di creare qualche nuovo effetto alle mie creazioni, quando mi sono imbattuta in questa Cartella da Embossing 3D della Sizzix. Così vedendo un po’ le caratteristiche e le possibilità di crearci qualcosa di carino, ho deciso di comprare la versione “cartella del legname†e l’ho praticamente subito provata…👉 A seguire le mie considerazioni, che spero ti siano utili per l’acquisto!MI PIACE:âœ”ï¸ L’effetto finale è spettacolare! Bisogna guardare bene da vicino per rendersi conto che stiamo osservando un semplice foglio di carta e non una tavoletta di legno. Se poi utilizzate un foglio del colore che assomiglia di più ad una tonalità del legno, oppure se lo decoriamo poi opportunamente, il risultato finale sarà molto realistico. Per la prova che vedete in foto, ho usato un cartoncino di un colore adatto.âœ”ï¸ Rispetto ad altre cartelle da embossing che ho o che ci sono in vendita, questa è più grande e la preferisco di gran lunga, perché mi permette di creare una decorazione di misura adeguata, anche con una sola passata.âœ”ï¸ Ho utilizzato una grammatura di 220 gr/mq e credo sia il minimo da poter adoperare. Forse potrebbe andare bene anche la 200, ma credo che sotto questa misura si possa strappare la carta facilmente. Al limite si potrebbe provare come indicato a inumidirla prima della passata, per renderla più morbida ed evitare strappi (ma non ho provato questa tecnica).âœ”ï¸ La sensazione finale 3D è chiaramente visibile, ma si percepisce anche al tatto. Passando un dito si sente la rugosità e le irregolarità di una “tavola di legnoâ€.NON MI PIACE:⌠Mi è piaciuto tutto. Si utilizzano facilmente e i risultati sono più che soddisfacenti.⌠Come anche per altri prodotti similari, il costo resta un po’ elevato, anche per la novità o per il marchio famoso.CARATTERISTICHE:👉 Cartella da embossing 3D, codice 662718👉 Bisogna ragionare sul verso di inserimento del foglio, per avere il rilievo dal lato desiderato.👉 Le misure finali corrispondono a quanto indicato, misurano circa 14 x 11 cm👉 Consigliato di inumidire con acqua tramite un erogatore spray👉 Adatta alla Big Shot Plus e prodotti simili.IN SINTESI:ðŸ‘🻠Te la consiglio sicuramente, la qualità è ottima così come il risultato finale.â˜˜ï¸ Ovviamente è un piacere se questa recensione ti ha aiutato nella scelta.
