The exteriors feature SKB's recognizable bar design that signifies the rack unit size on the front and rear lids. Molded bars on top and bottom also provide interlocking capabilities allowing you to easily and securely stack them with SKB's Shallow Racks and Roto Rolling Racks, making transport even more convenient and secure. Lids include rubber gasket seals to keep water out. Other standard features include front and rear steel threaded rails and rack screws 10-32 thread, recessed steel Mil-Spec twist latches, flush carry handles, and non-slip rubber feet. All Standard Roto Racks are 17.6 deep from front rail to rear rail.

I have five of these SKB racks and they are just excellent. They are a great combination of strong and lightweight. I have used many different types of racks over the last 50 years and these are the best.

I'm a weekly gigging bassist, and this fit my Mesa Boogie Big Block 750 perfectly, with 3+ inches to spare in the back to store the patch cable. case is rugged and durable, handles are nice and ergonomic. Only complaints (and they aren't enough to reduce it a star) are:1. due to the heat of my amp i wish this came with heat vents in the top -- I may drill some holes in the top of the case to let out excess heat. That does compromise the protection of the gear from outside contaminants, so i get why they didn't do that, but my amp does get a lot hotter in the case than w/o it.2. the clasps that hold the end caps on are a little wonky, but they work.I'm sure this case will be good for years (I've had it a month and have played 5 or 6 shows with it -- no issues).

I have a 2000 watt Behringer power amp in this and it's fantastic. All I have to do is remove the end caps and plug it in. My amp is well-protected.

I don't know what gear SKB designed this for because the case is 30% deeper than it needs to be.

Couldn't have used worse dimensions designing this rack. Guess I will have to continue using my 20+ year old SKB SIX UNIT rack ... to bad I only need TWO spaces now. At least it will stack safely on my Hartke 2x15 Sub Module. I'm not knocking SKB quality ... just R&D.I have a disability resulting in things getting done slowly so I miss many return windows. Getting tired of eating cash ... anyone wanna buy a brand new one? Are you the seller reading this ... Hey, able to return or maybe get some store credit? Help out a disabled vet.Here's the old rack ...
