Not much more you want an oil seal to do other than fit and seal well. This accomplished those tasks just fine. I would suggest making sure you have the right diameter "driver" before starting the task of installing these, I find taking the deal with you to a hardware store, going to the PVC pipe section and getting a long enough pipe to easily press these in. I sand the edge of the pipe to make sure it is nice and smooth and won't hurt the seal, grease the edge as well just to make sure. Makes installing easy, I have tried to use a socket in the past with mixed results. The key being pressing this in nice and even. Otherwise your going to be buying this again and redoing it.
