I have a small section of wall that I can screw into in my garage. The rest is brick. This is a perfect fit and holds my tools. Much better than having them all over the place.

Wall mount is sturdy. Hooks clip in nicely. The pegs where your skis are supposed to slide into are a bit far apart i think. The ski tips get pried together which then forces the rest of the skis apart. I have some pairs that don’t hold together all that great so they pull apart on the hook. They haven’t fallen thru yet but they look disorganized on the hook and like they might fall at any second. Installation was simple and easy. I elected to use my own screws.

This rack is easy to install and straight forward. Just find a stud or use anchors, level it out and screw it in. I like the black color and this rack has really good quality hooks and hangers, which are coated for protection. There are so many items, other than skis that could be hung on this such as umbrellas, caps, raincoats, jackets, brooms, mops, rakes, walking sticks, grabbers, paint rollers and even backpacks. It is constructed pretty well and should last for many years. One of the best functions I like about this mount is that the hooks can be slid around to accommodate varies items with various shapes and sizes. Most rack's hooks are stationary. So this particular adjustable function makes this stand out from others.

We needed something simple to store our skis in the garage and this was the perfect resolution. It’s a great size for the family stores exactly what we need and doesn’t take up too much space it’s sturdy and reliable.

This wall-hanging set was easy to install and set up. The skis are held by tension, but the system does work. Even though things were tight, I could hang four sets of skis and two snowboards. The only negative thing I noticed was that the included wall anchors were a little large for the included screws. This wasn't a significant issue for me since I was able to screw into wood studs for 8 of the screw positions.

Originally, this item was marketed as holding 12 pairs of skis. Later, the description was changed to hold 10 pairs. This is probably still inaccurate, unless you have some very old, very narrow skis. This is a great setup for holding 5 pairs of modern skis. All of the pictures for this item shows the skis hanging by the curvature at the tips. Some of the competitors to this style of rack show them hanging by the bindings. I mounted it high, and don't have room to try by the bindings, but by the tips seems to work well. You can also hang a snowboard by the bindings, or if strapped together, 2 snowboards base-to-base.My biggest complaint with the actual hardware itself are the plastic anchors that it comes with. The screws are actually pretty stout, but I think the anchors that it comes with are too small for the screws or something. I drilled 12 holes in my wall for those anchors and none of them held on to the screws. Just a moderate amount of weight on the rack and the top screws just pulled out of the anchors. I replaced all of the included anchors and screws with some better ones I had on hand, and it seems solid this way.

i tried out two ski racks this winter — one floor model and this wall-mounted model — and this is by far the better option!I started by mounting the rail on the wall. Because the ski rack comes as separate parts, it was easy to get all the screws in. Then the ski holders fit onto the rail, and its ready to use. The ski hangers feel securely attached to the rack, I have no worry about them falling out. Likewise, the skis are secure in the hangars because of the way the tips wedge between the arms. There's an additional hook on each hanger for holding your ski poles as well.Even when loaded up with 5 pairs of skis and poles, the rack is still secure. I'm very satisfied!

The description when I ordered clearly stated that it holds 12 pair of skis, but the rack arrived with only five sets of hooks. Even if there were six hooks (which there are in the picture) the hooks only have 6.5 inches of available hanging depth, so all your skis would have to be 3.25" wide or narrower to double rack all the skis onto six hooks.Overall, I like the concept and the hooks and rack seem heavy duty enough to last a long time, but minus three stars for way overstating the capacity. If this had been advertised for five sets of skis, I would have given it five stars, so it should be good if five sets of skis is good enough for your storage.
