For one, the mis-drilled holes for the center. It still works as there were two others to bolt the two pieces together.It is wobbly. It needs another center post for the top section.It's made of steel and the skis sit in a drain-less base section. I can see this will eventually get scratched by the skis and then water will drain into, rust and then rust your ski ends.Besides these pretty major flaws, it would be great for my need, as I have no wall or ceiling space. It is made of heavy metal, but the connections of the two pieces to make it wider is just not strong enough.
