I love these skis bit expensive but I'm sure I'll get every penny out of them. I live in a place where there are no roads so you need a snow machine to get around.

you need to use a thin screw rod with two nuts to pull the rivets into the skies. Take a rivet to a hardware store and buy the largest one that fits. then put a nut on one end with a rivet and add a rivet to the other site and add the final nut. Tighten them slowly and you will pull the rivets into the holes on the ski and the top support. Works well unless you have something better?

I took a chance after reading a bunch of forums saying the Skidoo Pilot skis would fit the F-Series Twin-Spar Cats but most of them said the 5.7 or 6.9 pilot skis were the models that fit. I like how these skis handled on my buddies Skidoo's so for the price I figured I would give them a shot. The only thing you have to do to make them fit is knock the bushings out of the new skis and use the old bushings and bolt from your Cat skis which come out easy with just an oversized bolt and a few taps of a hammer. You can use a vise to press the rivets in that hold the ski handles in place and in 20 minutes they are ready to bolt on. Also use the old rubber wedge from your Cat skis on the new setup. No miles on them yet but they fit good.

The skis look great and I can't wait to try them but definitely double check your fitment. I'm trying to install these on a 2005 ski doo summit 1000 (REV chassis) and I've run into two issues. First as others have mentioned the factory cushion is too tall and will require trimming or a retrofit. Second is the factory bolts are not long enough. This kit does include a new lock nut but no bolt.

Skis.are fine but the carbides that came with didn’t last more than a season. Not impressed but understand you get what you pay for
