i have a three inch skunk 2 exhaust installed on my car. factory fit lines right up. just make sure you check the bolt that holds in in every once in a while. mine rattled out one day driving and i no longer have it. i put the bolt facing down and used the nylock nut.

This worked out great. First off, it is designed for the Skunk2 exhaust. If you don't have that exhaust, it may not fit very well. I drive 70 miles one way to work, and the drone from the muffler was getting to be a little much. I put this in, and it cut my drone at least in half. Possibly more. I'm sure it will quiet a little more after carbon build up as well. It fit a little snug, but that's a good thing. I added some Loctite 242 to the nut and bolt before assembling. Let it set for a minute or two. Tighten the bolt really tight. If you want a really secure bolt, you can even add some Loctite after it is secured. I did not have it pop out, nor does it rattle. You could add a little tack weld to the bolt and nut with a mig welder if you really want to be sure, but then that will eliminate the ease of removing the silencer for shows, or just to get loud. I'll update if anything changes. In summation, good fit, works great, no issues.Silencer is still firmly attached. I have had no issues with it even coming loose. I'm running this in my 2014 Civic Si, with Injen intake, and Skunk2 Alpha header. Works great. Fixing to pop it out because I am missing the noise.

The skunk2 mega power exhaust was so loud and annoying. All my neighbors and other drivers always stare at me when I drive by without any hard acceleration. This helped lower the nosie considerably. Now I can love my fg2 again!

Did not fit in my after market exhaust... Not sure how it works with stock exhaust.

i get alot of death stares even when im driving as quiet as possible in civic, this definatly helps take alot of the bass out of the exhaust.

I like that fits perfect,I don't like the way it's going inside,mine went in hitting the tip with a plastic hammer until match holes and use the bolt them,it's really tight and hard to push those silencers I don't have idea how I'm going to removed if I need to one day..

Though it's not perfect, (welds,mesh could be better) however it functions much better than any of the generic pipe only style silencers. You can expect a 40-50% noise/drone reduction. Exactly what I was after, no more angry neighbors still sounds decent. Fits a 4.0" tip.

perfect. perfect fit. perfect sound. crisp. eliminates the LOUD obnoxious noise part out of the exhaust . still pretty darn loud but a whole lot cleaner sound. would definetly recommend if youre trying to tone down the car.

I have a Celica gts. Recently did muffler delete and It got so loud it would bleed your ears. And dron was horrible while driving on highway like you would get hearing loss after a long trip.But this bad boy fixed everything. Removed dron by 80% and my exhaust sounds awesom. It's still loud when you want it to but and quite when crusing.I tried this because it has mesh to absorb sound unlike normal silencer with just plain pipe. I got that plain silencer with my muffler but barely makes any difference

Worst just like it's supposed to. Still sounds great just not such a heat bag and really reduced the inside car drone. Perfect fit too. Installed on my 8th gen si coupe with full skunk2 megapower catback ..
