Wore them for 6 hours of skiing and they kept my hands warm without having to use hand warmers. Used them for shoveling snow, they got wet many times, and my hands stayed dry. They also dry quickly. They are definitely waterproof. These are great gloves for the price!

I keep losing my warmest gloves when I kayak late in the season on Minnesota lakes. One always pops out of my jacket when I put them away to paddle to landing. This is my latest edition. Bought them post lake freeze, so will look forward to using them next fall. But did put them to work already in working outside in 15 degrees weather. Fingers did get colder than I wanted, but just like every pair I’ve tried, but I love the fit and the coverage of these gloves. My next step for extreme temps will not be to try a different pair but just add those hand warmer packets to the top of my hands (per an electrician who works outside for the city of Minneapolis). So, just so you all know that these gloves are better quality and equal warmth to my last pair that boasted minus degree temp warmth and cost me twice as much!

I have worn these gloves once. I am a ski instructor. I need warm gloves. The one day I wore them it was about 25F and sunny. My hands were dry and warm while in the mid-20's but as the daylight faded the temp dropped to 20F and that is when my finger tips started to get a little cold. The gloves seem well made and they are very comfortable. Very good features too like wrist bands to tighten, cords for letting the gloves dangle when you need bare hands. I would rate them higher if they had kept my finger tips warm at 20F because they seem like a good glove for the money.Update - just wore these gloves in snowy cold conditions (17F) while downhill skiing and they were toasty warm and dry. Not sure why my fingers were cold 1st time out. I also wore them while snow shoeing in deep snow at 10F degrees with light winds and again my hands and fingers were warm and dry. So now I am upping my review to a 4 star. Very pleased so far and the value is very good.

I bought these to use when riding my motorcycle. They seem like they will be warm enough for sub-freezing (32 degrees Fahrenheit) weather at 60mph..Not too concerned with the waterproofing but I will check it out when it gets warmer..The gauntlets fit over my Leather jacket sleeves and come to almost my elbows, and I'm 6 foot and 256 pounds.

...affinity for mittens for years. These are beautiful. My new coat got lost, and the coat I'm wearing has shorter sleeves, so these help keep the cold from blowing up my arms! And the leather is so buttery soft!

These are good quality gloves for the money. I don’t ski, but I should have known that for snowmobiling or ice fishing in NY winters, they wouldn’t be warm enough. My fingers were numb after 1 minute on a ride to go ice fishing. 150 grams of Thinsulate just isn’t enough. They should be ok for winter walks or snow shoveling. The only other issue I have is that when you take your hands out of them, the lining in the fingers comes out and it makes it difficult to put your fingers back into them because the lining is bunched up inside and you have to work the lining back into place.

Bought for an anticipated snow storm with a weekend of sledding and enjoying the snow with my son. My hands stayed dry all and warm all day. I have zero complaints.

So, first the bad. These gloves provide ZERO dexterity, haha, so if you need to do anything even the least bit precise, you will have a very tricky time. They also provide no touchscreen sensitivity, but they’re not marketed as such, so no biggie there.HOWEVER. These are easily the warmest gloves I’ve ever worn. I’ve spent the last 2 days on a bike for 6 hours in below-freezing temperature, and my hands were perfectly warm (even a little toasty) all day long.If you need some super warm gloves and aren’t needing to be dexterous, I recommend these gloves 100%!
