Worked well to attach 14/2 outdoor low voltage wire to fence panel for landscape lighting. Would probably fit 12/2. Possibly larger. To achieve minimal wire sag, I used 1 clamp every foot when hanging wire under 2x4.

These are SO much better than the clips you have to nail in place, especially when you have very hard joists. The joists I had to work with were very hard to nail into and it was also difficult to drill these into it as well without a pilot hole. If you are working with wood like this, I recommend drilling a pilot hole first. I used 2 cordless drills and it was a breeze. One drill has a drill bit, half screw diameter, to drill the pilot hole and the second with a bit for drilling the screw into the joist (I used a hex head for better stability and torque). Quick and easy and kept my fingers intact! :-)

The screw head is the size of a typical screwdriver bit so it fits inside the head of a bit holder allowing you to install the screw without the use of a phillips bit. This is handy because it means you can do it faster and more reliably that using the philips bit. I like that. However, the screws are not very pointy or sharp so they don't start as easily as say a drywall screw. That part is a bit disappointing. In plywood you have to press a little too hard ( -1 star )

Great for 12/2. I used a socket hex head instead of Phillips with my impact driver and it was so much easier than staples.

Work great for anchoring Romex in tight hard to reach areas. These are so nice to use when you don’t have room to swing a hammer

Makes for a tidy install when redoing coax on your house.

I’ve used these to support 12/2 and 14/2 gauge Romex. Worked so well, I’ll never use staples again! Use a 1/4†hex bit to drive them. Don’t over drive the screws, use a screw driver with your choke set fairly low. They are too small for 10g, I’d love to see a slightly larger version for that big a cable.

Does exactly what it says it will. I used it for some cat6a cable running in my house. They hold the cable well and the screw drives effortlessly
