These break immediately. I expect some type of strength to them. It's some of the most brittle plastic I have even seen. There is absolutely no strength to these at all. Don't waste your money. There is nothing secure about these.

Absolutely genius idea and design to solve the age-old problem of preventing the unwanted opening of a sliding glass door. My door doesn’t lock because I have a pet door installed, so I needed an alternative solution to bending down every time and picking up the spacer bar placed at the bottom of door. While effective, I wanted something easier. Enter this little jewel. I was kind of surprised at how small it is, but it doesn’t need to be bigger. It installed in seconds, and adheres to my glass door well. It is unobtrusive and solid on my door. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because I’m sure a motivated unscrupulous character could break it and get in my house, but I also think same character might give up quickly once realizing the door is secured with something. Happy I came across this!

efore I bought it, my fingers would get caught in the window many times. Since I started using this, my fingers haven't gotten caught even once. It looks good and I didn't have any problems sticking it to the window.And I have a 2-year-old child, so I put it up high on the window.I forgot about it a few times and tried to open the window, but I couldn't get it out!I also have a dog, so this prevents him from opening the window or screen with his nose and getting into the garden.
