I love Dickies Flex Work Shorts and this latest purchase on 9-1-2023 is probably my 6th pair in. variety of colors. When a pair begins to show wear, I order another (these are bargain priced) and rotate the "old" ones into yard work shorts.Tan is my fav, but I also have a pair in black and a couple in grey.Sizing: I normally wear a size 33 waist but these are available in even was it sizes only. I've found 34 Slim works out best for me. 34 regular fit can be a little "loose" for my taste, but do make for a comfortable work short.I have this new pair in the washing machine as I write this!

I as surprised that these slim fit shorts were very loose around the waist and the legs. You need to have a body builder's legs to fit comfortable into these. But other than that, these are amazingly well made. I love the light weight yet thick material these are made of. I would have purchased more, but the selection of colors are very limited. The bonus on these is that they have a zip up fly, a hook on waist clasp, a pocket for your cell phone and very wide and attractive belt loops for a belt that I probably will be using to hold up my pants whenever I carry heavy objects in my pockets. Maybe after a prolonged drying cycle, these will shrink just a bit to fit more snuggly. So maybe if you are thinking of purchasing one of these, you may want to get an inch size smaller if you want a snug fit. But in my experience, it's always better to get them a little larger rather than a perfect fit from the start.

Love the fit and the wide belt loops. They’re placed in the right spots to keep your belt snug, and the shorts from having to be pulled up. Also the “slide “ type front clasp instead of a snap or button is a plus. Wish there was a Levi’s style “5th†pocket. Material is comfy and durable. Pockets are deep, and the smaller right side one holds my IPhone 12 securely. Good buy for the money.

I like the color and finally a size that’s not past my knees. Not sure why they don’t try harder to promote these instead of the baggy wide and ghetto long style in stores. This cut is much more modern and looks decent for chillin. Waist as all Dickies are smaller than what you expect with no give so size up. Also the material is the thin stuff used in Walmart supply. Not the thick material you get in uniforms.

I have always enjoyed Dickies work clothing, and these shorts are no exception. They seem to be durable, the fit is comfortable, and the extra pocket for a cell phone is terrific. It avoids the need for a separate belt pouch and is low enough that sitting on the phone that is kept in a back pocket is avoided. The pocket also seems to be secure and it is doubtful that the phone will not easily be lost. I own several pairs!

If you love Dickies, these are great shorts. I wear a 36" waist in most jeans, but I bought these in 38" and they fit perfectly. They have a great modern fit which will separate you from the dorky "dad shorts" wearers with their 8 cargo pockets and little hangly dangly bits and huge unfitted leg holes. These are nicely tapered so you don't look like you skipped leg day with your little chicken legs sticking out. They fall right above my kneecap while standing, just like in the photo. The material is also nicely rugged, as you probably know, so you could probably fight a bear and not get all torn up. I am not saying you should challenge a bear - Always respect wildlife. The cell phone pocket is very handy and puts my phone right where my hand falls to make it easily accessible but keeps it out of the way. I do notice that if you're upside down a lot, the phone will easily slip out. So obviously, not recommended for Australians.

These wrinkle more easily than I would like. Almost same fabric mix as Red Kap which don't wrinkle at all. These fit very nicely and are well made. The zipper is very short but if I unlatch the top when zipped down it works for me.

I should have listened. The shorts are great but run small. 34 was impossible. 36 plenty of room, but will need a belt . Shorts are on the knee which is perfect. They look nicer than just work shorts.

Der Stoff ist sehr dick und stabil. Schöne Optik, würde sie gerne wieder kaufen. Kleines Manko statt Knopf hat die hose einen Haken, aber damit kann ich leben!

Originally ordered a 32" waist as fit was supposed to be "true to size". Maybe because they are really nicely stitched with a good waistband they felt a little tight so returned and ordered the 33" waist.Oddly they came with a 32" label but were larger than the original shorts and fit really well. Highly recommended, Dickies shorts have always lasted really well, these slim fit versions fit well, feel comfortable and look great.
