Pretty and the kids love them. In our opinion the metal ones are better, but these work and the kids play with them.

They do, in fact, walk down stairs. Since there are three of them, they can walk down both alone and in pairs. They make a slinkity sound. Good times.

We wind the slinky to hang from the roof of our parakeet cage and this is their favorite perch. We have 3 birds and have to use 3 slinky's to stop quarrels. I've bought slinky's for other parakeet owners, and their parakeets have the same response. The birds do wear them out and they'll break, but we have a supply to immediately hang a new one, because they'll fight over the remaining ones. Maybe not the same purpose as intended, but it works. I use these heavier ones because they last longer.

Buyers beware, I only received one Slinky. The description said it supposed to have three, but it's actually only one Slinky for over $20.00, which is ludicrous.....

Heard this worked to keep squirrels out of bird feeders. Really does! BUT lasted only 8 days before falling in pieces.

I like the large size as well as the 3 pretty colors. But they don't feel very durable compared to the metal ones. And they won't walk down my stairs. But otherwise they are fun to play with.
