The hooks look very well made. Fit and finish are also very good. Safe working load of 1000 kgs is cast onto the hook.I worry about how the SWL of this hook (and others being sold online), have been been determined; there is no mention of proof testing or certification. A safety factor of 3-4 to 1, puts the minimum breaking strength at over 3-4 tons. I have doubts the clevis assembly and pin can sustain anything near that load.I am willing to give the SWL rating the benefit of the doubt, but will be cautious using the hook even at that load.

To the people who don't knowThis is because 304 stainless has .6% of molybdenum in it as well as other processes.It's funny seeing people stick magnets to 304 stainless steel and shouting out its not stainless but that's what 304 stainless does 😂You would figure people who know that stainless isn't generally magnetic would know the metal composition of a austenitic graded corrosion resistant cold working metals.I won't dock a star for it but my only complaint here is I'd hope the clasping part to be a little stronger/robust. I feel like this spring locked clip will break eventually or complelty fold, so don't put the rated weight I'm the closibg clasp as it's not made for it.
