Love the mat to collect spills! easy to get the dishes in and out twice each day. High quality materials. The slow feed really helps slow down my dog!! Would order again. Our Puppy, at four months old, has been gobbling up his food as fast as we can put it down. From my past experience, I know this is not healthy long term and could lead to several medical issues. I've used these types of bowls before with great success. So I did my research and read the reviews. I ordered this set because it was all-encompassing: a slow-eater bowl, a water bowl, and a placemat. It works great, and does not slide across the floor while my Dog "has at it". It is easy to clean and it slows his eating down so he can swallow smaller bits and chews rather than gulping. I recommend this set.

I know, I know. Of course, the mat will get dirty, and I'm not mad about it. It is also light pink, so it makes sense that it shows dirt very easily. I also feel like it doesn't wipe clean the easiest, which may be because the plastic is on the softer side. I love that the mat is dishwasher safe, so it makes it easier to clean. All that being said, if feel like if the plastic were a little more dense it would be easier to wipe clean.The water bowl and the food bowl seem to be good quality, and the slow-feeding bowl has really helped my puppy slow down with eating. For a pretty inexpensive item, I love it. The mat sits on laminate wood floors, and it doesn't suction very well (probably because there is more texture). I did notice, however, that the suction works very well when I put in on natural wood floors.Overall, I deducted a star because the suction power could be slightly better, and the mat doesn't wipe clean as easily as I want. But that's what happens when puppies play in dirt.

Perfect for what we needed. One single flaw I will point out, my puppy got frustrated with the slow feeder and scratched at the bowl and was able to remove it from the silicone base. That was annoying for the first few days but as she adapted to the bowl she figured it out. Not even enough to drop a star. Now it works exactly the way we needed it to. Easy to clean and it sticks to our tile nicely and doesn't slide around.

I like the combo of the bowl and the food being together. The rubber container type holder for the bowls is a great idea. The quality is great. I love the fact that my dog can no longer eat her food real fast. She has to work at giving around the Maze type bowl.

The suction cups need work. The food bowls integrity is at the whim of a frustrated chewer. It has good depth, and the doggo has gotten used to eating out of it which has helped his patience I'm eating over time. Holds a good amount of food, works well.
