I was using a different brand; the other brand was impossible to clean and was made to squish into bowls of different sizes. This one you buy the size that fits your bowl. It looks good is easy to clean and works for my dog who inhales his food. I'm very happy with this product and came back to buy more, because if I like something they stop making it, so I stock up....

It’s way smaller than I thought, but I don’t read descriptions all the way through. My dog eats really well on it. There are no chunks bitten out, it fits in our food bowl, and it suctions very well. Super easy to take out and wash

Our pup loves to eat and wolfs down her food very quickly. This insert fits perfectly, stays in place and helps slow her down a bit!

I add things to my dog's kibble like bone broth, cooked meat, veggies, fruit, etc. Food bits get stuck underneath the silicone mat, so I have to clean it daily so food bacteria doesn't build up. The silicone feeder itself works great and it has help with my dog's digestion, but she's constantly trying to get what's underneath it.

Worked great to get my dog to slow down while eating. Sticks well in the bowl and easy clean up.

Needed an insert to slow down my puppy that scarfs her food. I got two, and this one had much deeper and narrower crevices than I expected. I think it would be great for plenty of dogs, but it just wasn’t the right one for us. Returned it and kept the other one.
