This is a great little carrier for small pets like hamsters, mice, gerbils, turtles, snakes or other small lizards. We got this to use as a soaking tub and carrier for my daughter’s leopard gecko. The cut-outs are perfectly sized to allow air flow, and I like that it’s easy to clean too. It does not have a weird odor like some plastic things do. It was ready to use right out of the box, no assembly required other than snapping the top on and putting the water bottle on if you’ll use that. Overall, highly recommend this carrier to transport small critters!

There's a few things that need to change. I have two gerbils and I like using this to hold them while I clean their cage. However, the front door is super flimsy especially at the hinge. It doesn't open smoothly and I have to fight with it to get it to open without breaking. Once it breaks the whole carrier will be useless. The water bottle also needs a design change. Once those pieces that keep it on the cage snap from taking it on and off or are chewed through by hamsters or gerbils etc, it won't be able to hang anymore and therefore the animal won't be able to drink from it, even if the bottle is in the cage with them. The straw itself needs to be metal. Rodents will chew right through that straw and and the bottle will be useless. Although the carrier is flimsy plastic too, it should be fine for short carry times. I wouldn't use it for extended travel though unless you plan never to use it again. They will chew right through by the end of the day or a few depending on the attitude of the animal and what kind it is. The plastic clasp for the door also sticks inside the carrier, so the rodent can chew on it. This means that once that is loose enough, the rodent will be able to get out through the door. From the design of the clip, I'd say a persistent rodent can chew through and open that door in about 30 minutes if they chose to chew on that enticing inward projection.Disclaimer: Although I received this product free of charge, I still have to pay taxes on it, as it is viewed as income via a 1099. Everyone can therefore rest assured that this review is my honest experience with this item.

This is an adorable little carrier for short tripod or while you’re spot cleaning your hammy’s cage. It locks securely and is made of a fairly heavy plastic!

Latch sucks needs improvement animal escaped and had to be found. Luckily it didn’t stray far from the carrier.

This is a great little carrier! It’s very light but also quite sturdy and secure. It’s almost completely encased in plastic so there’s little opportunity for escape, but you can fully see inside when closed. There’s plenty of holes running vertically down the side, but it’s small enough that my dwarf hamster can’t get out. There’s a latch on the side that fully opens the door so it’s not challenging to get your hamster in or out. It’s very practical and possible for everyday use.I also love that it comes with a water bottle. The drinking extension is actually glass and very well made. What’s great is that there was little to no leakage from the bottle even when it was moving. There’s no ball in it, but our little dwarf hamster was able to drink fine from it. It’s certainly not a long-term solution but it’s great for transporting, when cleaning their cage, or generally showing the little guys off.

This small carrier cage with water bottle is a great option when we have to take our little hammy in for any medical reports or quick trips out and about.Well made, durable, and easy to use, the case has plenty of room for our hamster.Instead of pulling out the little cage and carrying that thing around, this is much easier to carry and very easy to handle.

This small animal carrier has a lot of great ideas on paper: a wide door for easy access, air slits for ventilation, a closed bottom to hold bedding, and even a tiny water bottle. But in practice, it falls short. The latches don’t close securely, and the water bottle bracket broke immediately, which is a big letdown. It might work as a temporary enclosure while you’re cleaning your pet’s main habitat, but it’s far too flimsy to safely use for travel or outdoor adventures with your furry friend. A great concept, but it needs better build quality to be reliable.

We got this little carrier cage for my granddaughter to stow her hamster when she's cleaning the cage, and for transporting back and forth from parents' houses. It's certainly not sufficient for long term housing for the little guy, but it'll work great for its intended purpose for us. Love that it has a water bottle in it. Although it is pretty tiny, it's still got sufficient room for the hamster plus maybe some little chew toys for him while he's in holding or transport. This little cage gets a 5 star from us.
