Got this for our guinea pig to hopefully keep hay mess at bay (one can dream, right? lol) but I must say it’s actually keeping things tidy in that area! His cage mate recently passed so it’s just him at the moment & We have a playpen filled with hay for him to explore in, so I’m trying to waste less hay in his actual cage. This seems to be working great in comparison to other hay feeders we’ve tried in the past. He can’t crawl into this one, and it being attached to the cage, suspended up from bottom, keeps the hay from going all over the place. This is the smaller version. I wanted to add a review with pictures since I only saw reviews of the bigger, (64 oz?) version.I do want to add that we initially had issues with everything snapping together as one of the metal ‘prongs’ that snap everything to place, was bent. We used pliers and got everything aligned and it all snapped securely together. Definitely happy with this & will update my review if need be.

This has been perfect in our C&C cage, the pigs figured out how to use it immediately and it keeps the hay off of the ground for the most part. Also the bars are close enough that they were never in danger of getting stuck.

This hay feeder is absolutely adorable and matches our carrot theme for our pet bunny. The only issue I have that knocked it down a start is the assembly. It soo messy to stuff hay into the feeder, and it’s difficult to unattach the front of the feeder and fill and then maneuver the edges perfectly together to clip back once filled.

Kind of spendy, work okay, look nice, but depending on the type of hay you are feeding they aren’t the bestBars are close together and Timothy gets in there sideways and is hard for the piggies to get it out. Orchard grass works great. Alfalfa was a flop, the small cuts fell straight and made a mess to clean up.Wouldn’t recommend, wouldn’t buy again.Still using but these are fancy but not practical. They do take up a good bit of space.

Bought for our guinea pig but it didn't hang on his cage properly. It was made nicely and looked cute just not usable in a cage that has a 5 inch deep plastic bottom.

Purchased the gray colored one for our bunny and it's excellent! Fill up with hay and he can grab from the front or the top, whichever he wants! Love this feeder!!

These look absolutely great and bunnies love them. I have bought two. It’s great that they can get hay from the top aswell which also makes them easier to fill.
