I've tried a few pet toothbrushes, I really like this set! The handles are thick and shaped, the brush does not spin as I hold it and work with it. And my arthritic hands appreciate the thick handles. These each have covers for the brush heads, which I love for storing them in the drawer between uses! Small brush head works well for my bichon and my Chihuahua x Italian Greyhound, they both have small mouths. Nicely packed in a box, nice gift for someone with a small dog.

I'm new to brushing my cats teeth. The young one doesn't seem to mind and he just wants to chew on the brush, older ones are a bit tougher. Still difficult even with this toothbrush, but I do really like how the bristles are. It's not like a normal toothbrush, the bristles are very fine and so compacted together that to look at it, I thought it was just foam at first, when I can actually get a tooth in there it works better than the others because of the bristles like that.

The quality of the toothbrushes (there's 2 inside the pack) is quite simply mid. It's your average dollar store type toothbrush. It's made of cheap plastic. With that said, it works fine as is, but I doubt it will last long against strong dog teeth.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of a brush, and has very fine bristles and is very soft. When I tested on my cat, I was able to apply the cat friendly toothpaste to several of their teeth. Mom, my medium size dog was very interested in the toothbrush. I did not feel comfortable using it on him. I would, however, feel comfortable using it on a small dog.

It's not that soft but not too hard. The brush it small but quite too big for my 6.5 lbs Pomeranian. I love that there is a case for the brush.
