Item is a lot smaller than I expected, so my puppy couldn't use it until she grew quite a bit taller.Luckily, she did eventually get tall enough to touch it with her nose, but now the knot slips out about once a week, even though I've tied a triple square knot to try to keep it together... The cord is just really slippery.My dog did eventually learn to use it, though it took several weeks of ringing the bell every time we went outside for her to finally understand.Overall, the bells ring and it hasnt broken yet, so I suppose it worked eventually. It's just a pain to have to tie it back on every week, and it was hard for my dog to reach at first .

I'm using them on a doorknob at the shop where I volunteer. Great to let me know when a customer comes in if I'm not in the front of store.

Smaller than I thought they would be but that is on me not reading the description thoroughly. Cute little set of bells though!
