Nice addition to my terrarium. My anoles (Marsha, Jan and especially little Cindy) are very skittish and were refusing to hunt their crickets on the ground or anywhere outside the cover of their leaves and vines. Forget about being tong fed. They seemed like they would rather starve than go out in the open. I put this up mid height in the back corner with a vine and some foliage over it and its a hit. I put a few crickets in it and while some get out, most don't realize they can jump out from the middle and perpetually try to climb up the sides of the cup and fight a loosing battle with the lip in their way. The ones that get out will eventually get eaten but my lizards are eating better and more regularly now from the feeder. They go to the feeder as soon as they hear crickets moving around in there. Its especially good to know Cindy is eating well because her bigger sisters would hunt all the easy to get to crickets first. Now i can see who's eating what and when the two bigger ones are full if there is none left in the feeder I put more in and my little one eats every time. Also it looks nice, the magnets are strong and it's easy to clean.EDIT: a few months later and my anoles have gotten a little bolder in their habitat, but the feeder ledge is still a hit. When I see them peering down into it I know they are hungry as well. It has never fallen off, magnets working perfectly. Still easy to clean and looking good. This was a real life saver for my anoles when they were new to their enclosure and being very paranoid and skittish. They still don't like going on the ground but will occasionally pounce down there to grab a cricket and quickly get back up to the vines. They still get to the feeder as soon as they hear the crickets in there. I found out most pet store anoles are wild caught and that's why they behave this way.

Love it! As someone who is allergic to crickets this is a great way to feed my baby brown anole phoenix worms since she never ventures to the bottom of her tank. I love the plastic rim around the cup! Wet phoenix worms and wingless fruit flies can't climb out! That alone makes the price of replacement cups worth it! The magnets are incredibly strong, firmly holding the ledge in place. This is not a fault of the ledge but I've found that feeder insects seem to dry out and die when trapped in this cup. Normally a group of ~50 wingless fruit flies would last about 2 days for my anole with most of them remaining in the aquarium. When placed in the cup, they're all dead within hours. Same with phoenix worms. If your reptile won't be eating from this dish within a few hours time, the feeders will need some form of moisture.

Definitely better sealer on this then compared to my review of the Magnatural Cave. The feeder cup this came with is a piece of crap, I expected a nice white porcelain/clay cup that you can pick up for $1 at walmart which I may go do now that I think of this. Worth half the price I paid for it in my opinion. Still made of foam too.

I have this product but I'm using it for my pump for a dripper plant. I have it holding a container of water for the pump to sit in , and it works great !Also my tree frogs love to sit on it, I put some frog moss around the container holding my water and I see the tree frogs lapping in the moss during the day always at least one of them on it.

This is not suitable for reptiles. It is made from cheap foam with no coating, so it crumbles apart when handled. Despite the seller's claim that it is "nontoxic", it is a risk for impaction. I am experimenting with some acrylic coating to see if I can fix this issue on my own. I do not recommend this product. You would be better off going to the pet store and buying one of their solid plastic magnetic feeders for $20.

My geckos hang out at the top of their terrarium and this dish is a great place to put their food whether it's live or a powder mix. It can also be used to hold lightweight potted plants.

Not suitable for turtles in my opinion - the plate is too deep and the whole construction is bulky. Plate quality is a think cheap plastic. Had to return it.
