SmallRig 2727 is designed to provide lens support and protect the mount for the lens. Use the thumbscrew to adjust the vertical height. The support protects the lens with an external diameter of 73-108mm. The V-shaped bracket has a built-in pulley, and the usable position is not limited by the position of the zoom ring or the focus ring. It provides stable support & simple installation, which makes users feel comfortable.

All aluminum and well built. Does what it's made for. Rollers are smooth and responsive. Quick clamps are sufficient. Price was decent, and the fit was perfectly precise to its size. I highly recommend this product to anyone.

Nice support for that heavy lens on your rig. the supports have rollers to reduce drag on the lens rings or lens barrel if you are using a zoom.

This device did not support the lens and even without any pressure it would slide freely. Absolutely a waste of money.

I'm usually pretty happy with SmallRig and Tilta products, but this thing is lame. The "locking" knob won't truly tighten down all the way so simply pressing on the lens lightly will push the "support" down and away from the lens. Not to mention only one side ever gets contact no matter what I try. Very disapointedwith this.

As another reviewer mentioned, the thumbscrew is pathetic, sticks constantly, and doesn't actually lock anything--the lens support shaft freely slides up and down even when the thumbscrew is tightened so securely that you can't even untighten it again. The rolling parts of the Y-bracket are also cheap and flimsy. Junk.

The wheels are not level. The lens wont sit on both at the same time.
