As a mother of two, I have tried quite a few baby monitors in the market. The most important feature I’m looking for is breath monitoring because SIDS is something I am truly concerned about.I found Boopoo when my 2nd daughter was born and what caught my eye was its “gear free†breath monitoring function. The previous baby monitors I tried either required my baby to wear some wearable sleeping bags or they use red infrared light to detect breath (I ended up returning it because it made me uneasy to have my newborn surrounded by red infrared light).Compared to the one using wearable sleeping bag, Boopoo is more affordable, easier to use and offers higher quality frames of captions. It also doesn’t require any additional stand to set up so much more travel friendly (we already took it with us twice on our vacation).I have been very happy with Boopoo and have introduced it to my expecting friends now :-)

Works very well out of the box. Simple to put together and set up via the app. I like the fact that it has preinstalled lullabies. One thing about that is even on the lowest volume setting it's still a bit loud. Should be able to adjust more for those extra sensitive to sound babies.The 32gb storage should be enough if you're just taking snapshots and short videos. However, for a 150+ dollar product, you'd think they would give you an option to put in a micro SD card. It's great that there's no fees or subscriptions for their cloud but now they have all your child's photos and videos at their disposal to use at any time. This totally puts me off on this product.

I had a VTech camera for years that probably worked 70% of the time until it quit on me last month. I was really surprised by the video quality on this Boopoo camera and more importantly it just works! No laggy video, no app crashes or camera "disconnected" bugs.The breathing function is really cool, though I really just need a super reliable camera. No issues here! No need for customer support, which is pretty hard to find with other dime-a-dozen cameras. Thank you!!

This baby monitor is packed full of useful features that make it a must have. It comes in two versions, crib or wall mount. The wall mount is great to keep the monitor out of baby's reach once they get a little older. However, I chose the crib mount version for versatility - this is also perfect for apartment dwellers who can't put screws into the walls. The crib mount works similarly to a clip-on desk lamp. While baby is super young, attaching to the crib puts it close enough for the breathing monitor feature to work well. Later it can be moved to the edge of a dresser or something to get it out of baby's reach while still keeping an eye on them. This monitor has so many great features and they are super easy to setup and use through the app. One note is that the ears didn't light up for pairing, it was a light at the power button. Otherwise a perfect product and would make a fantastic gift.

This camera works well and is easy to setup. I'm not a fan of the breathing monitoring. It doesn't seem to be the most accurate. I wish there were more instructions for how to best use that feature. This camera has a lot of features available, I'm excited to keep exploring them. I like the recording and lullaby features. I also like that I can use the app on my phone and don't need a separate monitor.

The directions for setting up and pairing this monitor tell you to wait until the "ears are flashing". We tried three different times and waited for the ears to flash, but they never did. On the third try my daughter-in-law noticed that the power button light was flashing with a white light. We proceeded to move forward with pairing the monitor when this light was flashing. It was then that it connected perfectly.Once the monitor was paired, and the app installed, we were able to access all of the great features that this monitor has. The first thing that stood out is the picture quality. It is crystal clear! I was actually amazed at how good it looks.The second feature we tested was the breathing analysis, which is also done through the app. Since the baby isn't here yet, we had one of us go into the baby's room to see if the monitor picked up on someone breathing. It did show that someone was breathing, however it was an adult who breathes much heavier than an infant. It is a good feature to have, but I wonder if it would also mistakenly pick up the breathing of something like a dog, who might be sleeping in the same room with the infant.The microphone works well. No static, and the voices come through clear. It works both ways.The lullaby options are very nice. There are 12 different lullabies to choose from. You can set a timer for the lullabies.There is a nightlight on the ears. There are three different brightness levels. There is also a timer for the nightlight.This monitor can record all day or you can set it for live event recordings. One of the other features I really like is that you can have up to 20 family members included on the app. That way lots of family members can all see the baby. Honestly, I really think that they've thought of everything with this monitor! We've had no issues with it so far. It works great!

Was the #1 gift on my list of baby shower gifts to present for my unborn grand-daughter, as she grows and starts to move around I wanted a baby monitor that would give it's parents a better way to monitor baby girl while she sleeps so that they do not have to keep getting up to check if she is ok. It is sensor free so you don't have to put anything on the baby in order to monitor. Has camera HD night vision as well. All I had to monitor my little ones was the sound on the baby monitor, which meant I had to physically keep checking in as there was no camera to use. Such an upgrade!
