Seriously these are the best high sock, for ski or hiking, I have ever found for my wide calves. Comfortable, does not slip, and though very light they are warm!

I have tried so many different wool socks, but these truly have swollen them and are marvelous. They aren’t too tight. They aren’t too loose. They’re perfect. My foot doesn’t sweat they breathe but in the winter, they’re wonderful as well. These are the best socks I have ever worn ever, I’ve paid over $40 for a pair of socks and these are so much better

These are the perfect knee high SmartWool socks. They have some extra stretch in the calf which I need. I am 5'4" and 155 pounds and have about a 15-inch calf and these are not tight on me. I didn't want extra bulk in the foot, so the no cushion version is great. Keeps me warm up here in the frozen North. Will buy more colors.

When I pulled them out of the package they looked too small and I thought I would have to send them back. They stretch and actually went up close to my knees over the calf. They didn’t fall down as I walked either.
