My son begged for this for his birthday but it looked so cheesy so I kept saying no. Finally I caved and got it for Christmas and it is actually really cool. It certainly had more in it than I thought and good quality stuff. We had a lot of fun assembling the toys and playing with each surprise item.

My son loved getting this. He loves playing with the triceratops and the trex even though trex head keeps falling off. I didn't know what to expect when opening it, but the top of the heads and the tails for both dinos come in slime. Not nice slime that likes to stick to itself, snot slime. The tail is not so terrible it cleans off easily and is only a little gross, but the heads have so much surface area and tons of little spots for the slime to hide that it takes forever.4 stars because ultimately the slime is the only thing I have issues with.

This smashers dino island t-rex battle package has a lot of mini surprises inside and our kids had lots fun with them. They got to smash open the case (they can also open the case gently but smashing is a lot of fun) and try to find the mini items inside. There are stickers, eggs with mini collectibles inside, and what they like most are the dino parts hidden inside slime and sand. Once they found all the parts, they can put them together to create 2 battling dinos for playing. It took my kids about 15 mins to figure out how to assemble them (instructions included and easy to follow) and then they had hours of fun playing with the dinos along with the included slime and sand.
