After checking the description before buying, this piece of equipment should have been compatible with my headset. It did not work on my main headset so we tried it on others, and it did not work on them either. After reading some of the other reviews, I'm guessing we got a defected one? It was a cheap price, so we were not too surprised when it didn't work on any devices. It also did not come with any instructions for troubleshooting, so we looked at various google results. Still no good.

I tried plugging it in and it just recognizes it as an aux cable and turns off the headphones. The provided adapter does not fix the problem.

I bought this to go with a pair of Sony WH1000XM2 noise-cancelling headphones. Problem is there's no friction whatsoever to keep the headphones in the jack, they just fall right out. They're unusable to me.
