Put simply - it works.And for those having problems breaking off the end, the solution is simple.1. Get the cheap vice grips set from Harbor Freight (you should have it around anyway for home projects.2. clamp down one just above the crimp on the end you want to break off.3. Clamp the other one on about a half inch away on the side you want to keep. This allows you to bend it without the vice grips colliding.4. Start bending back and forth just a little. Metal fatigue will quickly take care of the rest.

This does exactly what it's intended to do. I needed it much shorter than the notches but was able to cut them with a hacksaw easily and they're still holding strong. What i don't understand is why the metal smells so strongly the way it does. I honestly thought there was a sewage leak in my house when i was assembling this. I had to wash my hands afterwards because the smell rubbed off on my hands and i got a good nose full when i took a sip of my drink.I'd still recommend this product but i definitely recommend spraying it down heavy with some lysol before you assemble and use.I can still smell it.

The frames are inexpensive and that defines their quality. They are flimsy and do not sit well in the drawer. They hold files just fine.

Worked great. I could customise it to any size, even beyond the factory placed bends. Just used a hack saw :). Great quick fix the works well. Files slide beautifully.
