It’s works just as intended. Blows a lot of smoke so it is easy to detect if there is any leaks whether it’s an exhaust or vacuum leak. No more spraying carb cleaner everywhere and trying to listen to idle change haha. It’s a great investment to make if working on cars often or a mechanic

Need to find a small evap leak on a jeep that set off the gas cap light on the dash most days will driving. Cheap enough and can use many times beats the dish at a dealership or auto repair shop. Don’t for get to buy the smoke oil as it’s not included. Simple to use and well worth it

I got this to check a leak I was having on my 2007 vw rabbit. I found the leak in the secondary vacuum pump within two minutes of starting it. It works fine for a DIY since it's not something I use all the time, but it sure takes all the guessing of trying to find an air leak. Keep in mind that it won't find all the leaks as I had to use a vacuum pump to test the purge valve that was also bad. So it's just a useful tool if you work on your own car. Also this was the lowest priced one I could find that included the inflatable part. I forgot the name but it's the one I ended up using as the cone kept popping out of the intake hose.

I really liked this device. It has a window to view the oil level, it's lightweight, and it has a hook for hanging it in the workspace. Works as designed but machine itself started smoking and I only put half of the initial fill recommend. Used about 5 min and then machine itself started smoking
