Smoke builds up on the walls....who likes that?! If you do, you're just lazy! But, for those people that like a clean smelling house, no tar stained walls, and especially if you are renting. This thing COMPLETELY filters ALL of the smoke! As long as your lips are sealed over the hole, NOOO smoke will escape. I even like to stuff an extra fabric softener in there, for a lil state of mind, even though it really isn't needed. I've had it my first smoke buddy for a month now, and it still works amazing. I plan to get many more of these in the future, and recommend them to anyone who smokes in doors.

The item is cool. Though I haven't figured-out where the best place to use this product, but it does work.Of course I tried it with a full lung-full of smoke...It worked. There was 'zero' smoke that came out the back...AND, it did not smell.I imagine if you live with your parents, and you don't want them to smell your weed, this item is great...However...Just a little tip....If you do have to hide the smell, the Smoke Buddy will only help to douse all the smoke being exhaled...But...keep in mind that the Smoke Buddywill NOT hide the smoke smell when you initially light-up your herb (when smoking from a pipe, bong, mini-water bong or joint).How do you hide the smell all together?I recommend a Vaporizer.Smoking through a vaporizer cuts-down the smell all together. You do not get that heavy light-up smell with a Vaporizer because you are not inhalingall the tar and carcinogens you would get with a pipe, bong, mini-water bong or joint, which always has a smell.The Vaporizer, because of this, hides the smoke smell almost 90%...and when you blow that vapor out into the Smoke Buddy, top it off a few light sprayswith Glade or Febreeze and you're good to go.Only negative? The Smoke Buddy is way too big for your key chain - even though Smoke Buddy 'suggests' this by including two hole covers on both ends of the Smoke Buddyconnected by a plastic chain with rings on it to attach to your key chain.Plus, included with your order, you get a little Smoke Buddy man to attach to your key chain as well. This is a cute feature, but only girls will fully appreciate their new, little buddy, and would probably be the only ones carrying him with them. :)The little, Smoke Buddy man is plastic with bendable parts for his arms, hands, legs and feet, and for his body? A miniature Smoke Buddy.Another plus to the Smoke Buddy would be using it for smoking in your car...How so? You can cut-down the smoke if you are smoking through a pipe 'WITH A TOP ON IT' where you can cover the top with your finger right after a toke, containing and snuffing-out the smoke inside the pipe...then blow through the Smoke Buddy for ultimate containment, followed by a few potent-smelling sprays of your choice of scented spray.

I've been using SmokeBuddy for years now and it's awesome. I've read/heard about other personal filters and I've made a sploof before but I find this works the best.First, to clarify (and the reason I docked a star), it DOESN'T really get rid of the odor. I know it says it does but in general, the smell will still be there. It must eliminate odor somewhat since it gets rid of the smoke but it's definitely not the reason you should be buying this product.Why would you buy this product? Mainly to get rid of the smoke. I used this throughout college to avoid smoke detectors and I generally use it at home now just so I won't have smoke lingering - in that sense it does help prevent some odor.A tip: the inside can get disgustingly sticky (think resin) so I like to put some tissues or toilet paper in the opening. Also, that way you can see how much resin/nasty crap you're exhaling with each hit hahaThe lifespan of these are a good 8 or 9 months depending how much you smoke. After that, I think everything inside gets clogged and gross with the sticky resin and carbon.A great product but DON'T buy it if you're looking to smoke with no smell.

This product worked great for about two weeks. After that I noticed that it was leaving a black ring of resin around my mouth. This was not a small black ring either it was a large black ring around my mouth about every time I would use it. I tried cleaning it and it would not work.The resin would literally stick to my facial hair and skin requiring me to scrub my face after about every use. This product did work great at first in containing the smell, but I think I would rather have it smell than a giant circle of resin on my face. I did attempt to clean it and everything, but with no luck still resin.

Great product. Eliminates smoke completely and takes away the vast majority of the smell too. Several occasions when my parents came into my room mid-sesh and didn't notice a thing. Easy to use, easy to store. The only downside is that it stops working after a while. (still eliminates smoke, just not odor quite as well). Another thing is that the product itself starts to smell pretty bad inside. But as long as you don't make an effort to smell it, you will not notice it. Excellent product, I highly recommend it.

It keeps the smoke out but the filter gets clogged and there isn't a way to clean it. So it does get kinda gross.

The Smoke Buddy is definitely worth the money! It worked amazingly, couldn't believe my eyes, the smoke just disappears! Mine ran out a lot quicker than stated but there were 3 people using it almost continuously for a couple weeks so it's simply that it was well over used. I would definitely recommend it to anyone and everyone and will be purchasing another!
