This is a very nice basket, which collapses for storage and then opens up to create a much larger container. It is designed for dog washing, though I intend to use it as a laundry basket instead. Because it is waterproof and has a drain, I can also see using it for foot washing by our swimming pool. And I imagine it probably has many other uses as well.The basket is well constructed out of heavy plastic and rubber and has three handles, one at each end and one on the far side. Coupled with the concave bend on the near side, the far handle makes it much easier to carry a heavy load without putting too much strain on one's back. So the design is well thought out.I don't usually focus too much on price when I review things for amazon, because pricing can always change. But I should note that the current price of $39.99 for this item is substantially higher than that of other, similar baskets listed on Amazon. True, this one has a drain, and those others, generally described as "laundry baskets" do not. But you are paying quite a bit for that drain.
