This blender is pretty much useless. I purchased this for my kids to make smoothies in the morning. It takes 10-15 mins of labor to get it to properly blend and mix the fruit, juice and yogurt. I couldn’t fathom trying to put ice in it.Edit to review: I was contacted by customer service and they refunded me for the blender. Thank you!

Purchased this blender as a Christmas present for my daughter. I could tell right away that it was not made well. The blades looked very chintzy. And I was right, the blender was not made well. After one week of usage the motor is completely shot. It actually frayed. I contacted the manufacturer and they offered to send me another one. I declined and requested a refund. They did say they would give me a refund but so far it has not been issued and I'm not holding my breath. I would give zero stars if that was an option. It's completely irresponsible to make something that is basically made to break.
