I should have read the description so this is totally on me but was unaware they were tempered glass. My 10 year old grandson tossed them out of the pool and they shattered on the concrete. They are good just be sure you are aware of the glass.

Cleaned 3x with toothpaste before using and used the spit trick-no fogging at all.My mask started to hurt the base of my nose under the septum after a couple hours of snorkeling and it had small leaks whenever I got too expressive but it fit better than most other masks I’ve owned. I’m 5’6†and medium sized. I got the same mask for my petite kid (4’11â€) and it fit her face perfectly.

My star ratings are completely arbitrary, but take the shatter warning seriously with these. I dropped into a cenote, mask hit the water from less than two feet at a pretty minimal velocity, and boom. A guide at the cenote said that happens frequently. I now realize that many masks with tempered glass carry this warning so maybe they are all similarly fragile, but I was surprised at how easily this mask failed. I've been snorkeling for many years, and have never been particularly gentle with my gear and have never had anything like this happen. I can't really comment on their quality otherwise as this happened on day one. Anyway, this could be a fine product and I will never know. But if you buy these, be careful as you enter the water.
