1. After putting on the inflatable vest, adjust and tighten the seat belt to a proper position. Then fasten the belt buckle. Then pass the shoulder strap from the back through the legs to the front, and then tighten the shoulder strap of the diving vest.
2. Inflatable swimsuit, belt and trouser belt have anti sinking / anti slip function.
3. How to inflate and deflate: just press the air valve and blow with your mouth for about 10 seconds to complete the inflation. When the valve is released, it will close automatically. When venting, press the valve to release air.
4.The air nozzle of the buoyancy jacket is located at the upper left. Even if you wear the snorkeling jacket, you can easily adjust the buoyancy in the water.

This was easy to inflate and put on at the beach. It packs nicely into a suitcase (very flat when you let the air out). I used this at several beaches on my recent trip to Hawaii. It worked great for the most part to keep me afloat while snorkeling.The only con is that it doesn't have a strap that goes between the middle of your legs like standard life vests do. So, it kept sliding up on me while I was using it. It does have two straps that can go around your thigh, but I didn't bring those since it doesn't seem like it would be easy to swim with it strapped around your thigh(s).

bought two of these to use in a small inflatable boat we just purchased. these are great b/c they don't take up the space that the bulky vests do. works great in a small space. also great quality.

The life vest was for our trip on kayaking, luckily did not have to test its floating ability, but it is secured and fitted for both myself (100lbs) and husband (170lbs)The vest is lighter weight and was not too hot when being under the sun on the kayak. The blowing of the vest was easy to use, similar to what we were taught to use in case of emergency on the plane

I am a little confused when I unpacked jacket. It has a label inside stating "Does not prevent drowning" well, not sure what to think. So this jacket has legs straps that go between your legs to keep the jacket pulled down. I have used it for Paddle boating so I have not yet been in the water with it, to see if it helps with buoyancy. Size is perfect. I will update as soon as I can test it in the water.
