I've owned many different sets of "chains" over the years, and these one are BY FAR the best. As the headline suggests... Good Quality - They have a nice, almost robust, feel to them; Good Traction - They served their intended purpose/function VERY well, keeping me steadily in control of my vehicle, even in some very icey conditions; Easy to Install - Nobody wants to spend one moment longer than necessary on the side of a highway, in a snowstorm, attaching their traction devices. These "chains" were, thankfully, a breeze to install - requiring less than ten minutes total for both wheels.

The chains arrived in good shape. Upon inspection, I questioned if they would be strong enough as the chains reminded me almost of toys or cheap jewelry. I put the chains on thinking I was probably just having a negative attitude. Following the instructions the chains were easy to put on. However trying to drive up my driveway the tire spun ever so slightly and broke the one chain less than 30 seconds into testing in snow. I am just grateful I was in my own driveway and not out in the bitter cold trying to put them on and then have them break and come off and be stuck along side the road in 2 degree weather. Lesson learned.

I really like these European-style snow chains—they sit snugly on the wheel and are easy to install. I prefer this design over bungee-tensioned chains, as they provide a more secure fit. I only wish they came in an additional size to fit 235/50 R19 tires for my other vehicle.

Works just as well as other chains that are way more expensive. I've got a pair of these and a pair of expensive ones I was told to get. I don't see a difference.

When I bought it, I put it on right away so that I could be prepared for when I actually needed it. It was super easy to get on, but I recommend learning how to do it before the emergency arises. This season hasn't been very icey, so I haven't actually used it yet but I trust it.
