I'm not sure exactly if I'd call these true ski sleeves, instead more like a cover or maybe a ski "cozy". They are very soft and fairly thin, think like a thicker t-shirt or soft, stretchy, thinner flannel. They cover the ski fine, velcro area to go over the binding and a "cap" at one end to fit over one tip. I would not send my skis on a plane with just these covers, your edges would probably wear right through them if enough pressure was applied or they would get damaged with handling. But what I will use them for, and I think they will be handy, is to give a bit of extra protection to my skis INSIDE of our regular nylon ski carrier. Also, sometimes I put a couple pair of kids skis inside of a snowboard bag when traveling, so the airlines only count it as one bag, and these will be great to put around one set of skis so they don't get damaged rubbing up against the other. Similar use inside of our car toppper, I'll put these on the skis to protect them from the other skis, boots, and poles that we cram in there for the 8 of us! Not sure how long they'll last and for the price, wondering if just a second nylon bag would work better/last longer. But I think for the above purposes they would work fine.

While I have seen several snowboard sleeves on the market, I have not seen as many for skis. These ski sleeves are just as soft as the snowboard sleeve from this brand. If the fabric was used for a hoodie, it would be very comfortable. I used the M size for 172 cm skis and the fabric was stretchy enough to fit. This also helped because the skis were wide.Things I liked:- material was soft and protected the smi edges- the sleeve material stretched to fit- the ski sleeves included holes for ski brakes- the ski sleeves are priced fine, maybe due to a lack of competition in the market- they helped protect my skis when flying with themThings I didn't like:- the material is soft but a little thin- the ski brake holes aren't going to fit all pairs of skis- the material left a gap where they didn't cover the skis- the velcro didn't allow for any adjustment for a tighter or looser fitUltimately, these have been nice ski sleeves that I will be using to protect my skis when traveling and in the off season.
