as a new figure skater, this product definitely works! i believe i ordered a small, and my waist is a 25â€, so it’s kind of tight, but i believe that best if you want that extra support on your potential fall.

Not the most padding, but also not the least. If you’re looking for something slim that will also be tight to you, this is it.

The AIDY-PRO Snowboard Padded Shorts Protector is an elastic shorts with strategically placed foam pads to protect the hips and butt area. Useful for sports and activities that have higher rates of falling. I did find that the sizing is too small (got XL, which is supposedly listed for 32-36in waist). It was already tight to put on, but especially restricting tight on the thighs, so not for larger thighs. I would say definitely size up or two on this. The stitching has a couple loose threads, which could have been better. The crotch point seems it could use some reinforcements, given this is meant for high movement and activity and feels thin and prone to tearing. The foam pads are great though. Quite thick and feels very protective, and has a medium firmness. Overall, this is an alright padded shorts though definitely size up.

I got these for my new hyperfixation that is snowboarding. I am going to go a lot this season in order to learn and figured it would be good to have a little bit of extra padding in the booty region because I am anticipating many falls. The padding in these shorts are light duty but I feel they will provide a little extra cushion in the case of some minor falls. I wouldn't rely on them to make you invincible, but for the price they provide ample protection of your butt, hips, and tail bone. I am 5'9", 150lbs, a size 30ish waist, an athletic/average build and the large fits me perfectly. Follow the product picture sizing and you should be good. The sizing is a bit shifted since these can be for children too. I am usually a small-medium in adult sizes so keep that in mind.In terms of comfort, it's about as comfortable as I think butt padding can be. The material is stretchy but stays in place. It didn't bother me after a long day of use and there are no painful spots from tags or anything. I used it under some thermals under my snowboarding bib. Overall, I am happy with this product and would recommend it for anyone wanting some extra protection! Hope this helps

I ordered an X-small and it fit perfectly. Went snowboarding and fell a lot. The padding protected my sides, and hip area, but when I fell back onto my tailbone, it didn't hit any cusion and left my tailbone bruised. I think they did a great job on the design, because I don't think there is another way to get padding around the tailbone without compromising the movement of your body while skiing or snowboarding.
