. . . but tricky to use. It cleaned up the edges of my shorty skies, but I found it difficult to control the sharpener vs. handle. With practice, I'm sure one gets better at it, especially for quick touch-ups. However, when the edges get too rough, I plan to get a professional tune-up in the future.

I bought some used skis with fairly corroded edges and planned to use this to bring the edges back into better shape, but it's not up to that kind of job. The file is too small, slips out of the holder too easily and wears down too quickly. I ended up having to file the edges down with a standard toolbox file. This tool may be better for fine tuning an edge that's already in fairly good condition but if you're trying to rescue edges that need a lot of work this is not the tool for the job.

This is a the one you keep in your boot bag for a great touch up among with a wax for touch ups.Works great!

While I have not yet used, appears a little convenient to use... will likely just buy a normal gummy stone for touch ups on edges
