I had to return this product because it looked used and was missing some of the hearts on the box. The box is cheaply made out of balsa wood and has the elephant, hearts, etc hot glued onto in. The paint was already wearing off as soon as we got it as well. I’d recommend to spend your money elsewhere.

The heart at the bottom makes the box in-even. It makes it look like a defect. I don’t suggest this as a gift.

The product had a nice outward appearance for a child, however, the "rabbit cuts" of the wood had way too many splinters. Product should have been sanded far more than it was, especially as the product was designed for a small child. Potential injuries from the wooden splinters & could also be a choking hazard to a child. I would not buy from this vendor again.

Decades ago, it use to be popular to use old cigar boxes to stash small bits of memorabilia. This is essentially the same thing except that it's a dedicated wooden box for holding smaller items collected during the beginning of one's life. A bit larger than a cigar box, this will hold a fair amount of treasures. Cute and lightweight. Love the separate piece of a wooden heart attached to the outside. The wood itself is not really all that special. Kind of cheap, but just sturdy enough to hold up for years to come. The paint job is of that distressed sort to give it somewhat of an aged look.Makes for a great gift for a new life or just to get for your own new baby.

This keepsake box is definitely not gifting quality. It is extremely lightweight similar to those little thin paintables they sell at craft stores. Be careful if you’re getting this because “Daddy†is misspelled on it. Not worth it for the price.
