Ordered product to keep the two extension cord ends out of the weather. Box is easy to use and once you get it closed and the sides latched down, it is water proof. I have it in a spot that sprinklers run twice a day, when I opened up today to check inside the box, it was completely dry inside. Great product, great price

I bought this box for my above ground pool equipment. I needed a box that would protect one incoming power supply line and also protect 2 input plugs and a timer. This box works perfectly. It has ample room to hold a large plug with GFI, a timer and about 10 feet of power cord. I ordered the large size, and am glad I did. I have no trouble keeping all the power inside and don't have to worry about squeezing it in. The cover is very secure. I like the snap lock mechanisms that keep it tight. They work very well. I know this because a blowout of my salt generator that spewed gallons and gallons of water over this box had no impact at all. It was dry inside, totally dry. I intend to bury this box in the spring when I re-open my pool, and am certain it will hold up to that just fine. The price was fair, the delivery was fast, the company did a great job. I would buy again if I needed and can recommend it without reservation.

I had to connect an extension cord to my above ground pool's filter pump in order to reach my exterior electrical outlet. I needed a box like this to keep the water away from the connection. This works perfectly. Although I live in a desert, it rained heavily for a week a few weeks after I installed this and no water got in. Although some reviews have complained about the locking clips, mine work just fine. Of course, just make sure you have the top lined-up with the box before locking the clips. Based on the construction, I believe this will be durable. Since UV is really intense here at 6,000 feet above sea level, I put the box in a position where it is shaded almost all day long - that should help keep the plastic from deteriorating. Finally, as other reviewers note, I don't understand why the lid was constructed such that water collects on it.

Great water resistant cord box for outdoor lights in my case. Only issue was it was tough to seal up/close but it worked OK.

I use a lot of lighted yard decorations for the holidays--mostly Halloween and Christmas, when my area gets a good amount of rain and/or snow. I use more simple cord protectors for single plug-to-plug connections, but needed something larger to accommodate a power strip. The medium box fit a 3-plug power strip (about 8in long), with plenty of room to accommodate the plug heads & some of the extension cord length as well. Closing it while keeping all your cords in the proper spots could be a little difficult, but not too bad--my goal was to set everything up once then never open it again until it was time to take down my decorations, so I was willing to spend the time to get everything lined up perfectly. I also had some single plug-to-plug connections for lights that have very boxy plugs/connectors that were too big for the simple cord protectors--I used the small-sized box for those, and they fit with plenty of room. They were out for about 6 weeks and saw some pretty heavy rainfall--water collected on the top of the boxes but no moisture was inside when I opened them up to take down my decorations. I definitely recommend investing in these--not only does it perform well, but it brought me good peace of mind knowing that all my decorations were protected from the elements.

I got the small size, and it’s an awesome weatherproof box. I used it to house a Nest Camera power supply, and I appreciate the extra room to store all the extra cable from the install. It’s easy to latch closed, feels very sturdy, and overall, a great buy!

Our problem was that we needed a way to have a large GFC plug on a short electric cord from a pool pump connect to an outside socket on our house 40 feet away on a timer. We needed a way to connect the plug to a grounded extension cord that had to be water-resistant - from both any rain and splashes from the pool.This solution is reasonably unobtrusive in it's grass green color and size. It utilizes a combination of an overhang on the lid, electric cord guides and rubberized seals to minimize any potential for water to enter the box. The cord / GFC plug is connected inside the box and the lid just seals on top. Although we do have earwig bugs that appear to like the shade in the box, we have not had any issues with water entering even after weathering (pun intended) multiple thunderstorms and torrential rain.A simple solution, though it works well. On reflection we likely could have picked the smaller size, though we are now utilizing the larger capacity for multiple outside cords and believe this will work well for outside decorations for the holidays.If this review was helpful, please mark it as so to help others find it. Even after reading all the great reviews and ordering this, I was still worried how weather proof it really would be. We had some rainy days, but after the rain let up, I'd open the box to make sure it was dry inside and it was every time! I used it for my inflatable Halloween decoration, so of course I didn't use it while it was raining, but it was always safe to use right after it stopped raining. Great box and I'll use it for my Christmas decoration too!Edit 12/23/2023:The small box (green) worked great for Halloween and Christmas last year, and again for Halloween this year, but I got more Christmas decorations this year, so I bought the medium. (black)The small could fit my 3-prong extension cord with 2 plugs plugged in, but not 3. The medium is so much bigger, so there's plenty of room! I guess I should've gotten the medium from the start, but now I have 2 boxes. :)

Aucune jardinerie ou magasin de bricolage ne propose ce genre de produit.Utilisée pour les illuminations de Noël dans le jardin, j'ai réussi à brancher 6 guirlandes et décorations électriques sur 2 multiprises de 5 trous.Contrôle au bout de 2 semaines dehors avec quelques pluies (Ile de France), rien à signaler.Je vais commander une 2ème boite pour l'autre bout de jardin pour l'année prochaine.
